40 km from the French-Spanish border, Empuriabrava has become a big tourist spot, owing its originality to its urban structure, which is based on its 30 km of navigable canals, allowing pleasure boats to come right to the door-step. The town spreads over a large area and is made up of three parts: the lake dwelling part with its navigable canals, the marina with shops and restaurants and the sea front, running along the big, sandy beach. The Comte d’Empuries residential complex is situated in the Gran Reserva area, close to all shops and facilities. It comprises three buildings, no more than three storeys high (without lift) separated by gardens planted with flowers and trees.Pedestrian alley ways cut through the residence, giving access to the four swimming pools, and to the beach which is just 150 m away.
