We have a mixture of private accommodation and managed accommodation. So, what is the difference and what should you expect?
With private accommodation you will find that each villa, chalet or apartment is unique and individual in character and has no set standard. Because all of these accommodation types are different it is hard to quantify standards. This added character and more homely feel appeals to many of our clients and people often return to the same place. Linen and cleaning is not usually provided in private accommodation and as such there is often an extra cost to pay for the linen service and cleaning if you wish (refer to 1.6 under Terms and Conditions).
The managed apartments are often referred to as Villa/Apartment Residence. These are managed residences to a holiday standard and offer a variation of layouts. You usually get a reception, like that of a hotel to check in and pay any cleaning or damage deposits. Linen is usually provided in managed residences and people often like the security of having direct access to a reception for any queries or problems they may have.
One thing to note is that particularly in
Hotels have a reception and generally have their own restaurant facilities. You can have the option of staying in a double, twin or triple room.
