The Residence Edison, a recent building, is situated just 50m from a small pebble beach and 2Km from the fine sandy beach of Peñiscola and from the town centre. Peniscola is situated on a peninsula of the Costa Del Azahar housing the "Papa Luna" fortified castle, built by the Knights Templar in the au XIVth century. The ancient little village clings on to the rock overlooking the sea, all around this chateau. Little white houses with balconies abounding with flowers nestle in the narrow streets and squares that make up this village. Superb views of the sea or of the mountain opposite the citadel are to be discovered at the turn of a corner. The modern part of the town is situated along the two fine, sandy beaches, on either side of the peninsula.
