Vik
Vik on the south coast of Iceland, 2 hours from Reykjavik is a great base for adventure and outdoor activities which include snowmobiling, quad bikes, super truck tours, horse riding, hiking and fishing. Discover the south shore, viewing the spectacular Skogafoss waterfall, Myrdalsjokull glacier for skidooing, dog sledding, and the black beaches around Iceland including Reynisdrangar which in 1991 was voted one of the ten best beaches in the world. Also worth the visit is the countrys southernmost point, Dyrholaey, where thosands of puffins nest every summer.
